Why I Created Hidden Tokyo Guide
Tokyo is known for its bright lights, fast trains, and famous landmarks—but what fascinates me most are the places that don’t often make it into travel brochures. From quiet alleyways and independent cafés to hidden shrines and local markets, there’s another side of the city that deserves more attention.

Hidden Tokyo Guide is a personal project developed for an academic assignment, but my intention is to create something more lasting and meaningful. The site is designed to highlight lesser-known locations and cultural details across Tokyo, offering an alternative perspective for international travelers, students, and curious locals.
Through this project, I aim to demonstrate both my content development skills and technical capabilities, including website structure, design, and user-focused navigation. Each blog post and feature reflects a balance of research, writing, and visual presentation.

Although this began as part of a university course, I plan to include the site in my professional portfolio moving forward. It represents not only my interest in digital communication and cultural storytelling, but also my ability to build and manage an audience-friendly platform from the ground up.
